The Floral Blazer

I have been in love with Blazers for a while now, always looking for a cute unique looking one to get my hands on. I was recently looking through Karmaloop.com and found this amazing Blazer by Joyrich. I just love the florals and how different it looks. It's a little bold and not your ordinary black or grey blazer and that’s exactly why I love it. I am thinking of getting it but the price is just a little bit high for me right now, although the good thing about Karmaloop is that before making a purchase you can head over to karmaloopcodes.com and use one of the codes provided to get from 10-15 even 20% your purchase. I think I'll keep an eye out for this cutie and maybe in a few days I'll go back and get it.

Been Gone for a While

I know, I have been gone for quite some time, it's been a while since I blogged. I have been so busy and been going through some changes. Not permanent changes of course. Right now I am deployed and away from my hubby and my baby boy. I miss them so much. Due to my job and security reasons I can't really talk about what I am doing and where I am at well I'm in Kuwait but that is as far as I can go without getting into any trouble. I should be going back home sometime next year, again due to the security I can't really say when. I just miss home so much, but I miss my boys more. I hate being over here due to the fact that I can't dress like a girl. I am stuck to wearing just uniform 24/7, and that got boring the second week I hit boots on ground. None the less though I have been keeping up with the latest trends, and the beauty community. It's going to be a long year but well actually, we are somewhat close to going over the hump you know the 6 month mark. My son turned 1 year in September, he walks now and although I am away from him he still can recognize his mommy’s voice when I call home. That's so great, a lot of people would think he would forget and our bond would not be as strong like it would be with a mother that is with her son 24/7, but I beg to differ about that. A mothers bond with her son is stronger than what most people think, and I send videos to my son reading him a book, my husband tells me that as soon as he sees me on TV I have his attention the whole time until it's over. That makes me so happy, that our bond is still the same as it was before I left. Distance makes the heart grow fonder, and that I have experienced. Well, that's pretty much it for me right now; there is not much to say about my life right now. No interesting things happening, but just wanted to update you girls about why I have been MIA. Hope you all have a great turkey day and a good black Friday.

A little extras :-)

I have been looking everywhere for a great boyfriend blazer and I could not find any that I liked at a good price anywhere. Until finally I decided to check out http://www.cutesygirl.com/ and I found the perfect boyfriend blazer for me at least it is so pretty and girly I just had to have it. I was also, well my hubby and I have been on the hunt for some new shoes for our little boy, since he is just getting bigger by the minute his current shoes are starting to fit a little tight but still fit him good. We also wanted to get him some white shoes since the ones he has now are black, we all need a pair of black and white shoes right..so we finally found the ones we wanted to get him, Jordan Spizike and they are just too cute...

Forever 21 Picks...

I know I havent been updating my blog and I said I was and do the 365 day project, but I found it hard to do when I'm busy all the time and I don't have much time to take pictures other than of my son. So my birthday is coming up on the 29th woo hoo 23 here I come, anyways, I was planning on getting some birthday presents from the new Mac To the beach collection but figured I would go with clothes instead since I am in need of clothes instead of makeup....since I don't want to spend the extra $$ off base paying the €, and on base they don't have much selection of pretty clothes, I went to my old faithful Forever 21, and like always it doesnt dissapoint...below are a few of my picks...enjoy

Hunt for the perfect foundation

I have been on the hunt for the perfect foundation these past few weeks, I have been using Mac's Studio Fix Powder foundation, Mac's Studio Fix fluid foundation and Revlones Colorstay foundation, needless to say I have problems with all three of them. But I will be doing a review on those on a seperate blog post. Right now I have my eye on two foundations that have had extremely good reviews everywhere. One of them is NARS Sheer Glow Foundation, I have heard nothing but great things about this foundation the only I guess downer about that is that it doesn't come with a pump, but it's no biggie I don't really mind. If it provides good coverage and makes my skin look great then the I could really care less for the pump. The second one which is also alot of peoples favorite foundation is the Makeup For Ever HD foundation. Right now I am torn betweent these too and I don't know which one to choose I really want the NARS sheer glow, but MUFE HD is 2 dollars less lol. I am going to do some more reasearch on both of these see what other girls think about them, compare them and watch more review and will go from there, don't be surprise if I end up with the NARS one... :-)

Makeup for Ever HD Foundation $ 40.00

NARS Sheer Glow Foundation $42.00

Still Glamorus cosmetics haul/review

It's been a a few days now since my last post, I've just been super busy and after I get off work I just want to hit the sheets which I can't because I want to spend time with my two boys, anyways, a few weeks ago like about a month ago I orderd some stuff off of stillglamorus.com. They were having a sale for their anniversary I believe were it included free shipping and buy 2 lipsticks and you would get another one free but you had to put in the comment box what color you wanted. It wasn't on all their items that the sale was on it was just on pigments, lipsticks and a few others I believe I can't really remember. I never really ordered before because I thought the shipping fee was too high but when I heard about the sale I took advantage. Well, I was not impressed at all with anything. Starting with the shipment, it took a while, and well that I can understand that because i am overseas but at the same time Mac usually ships my stuff in 2 weeks. So I didn't like the fact that it took forever to finally arrive, i also didn't like that it was all sent to me in an envelope, I didn't find it very convenient for the products I know it wasn't much that i orderd but the few things that I did oreder were pretty packed in the envelope. The free sample which I believe was an eyeshadow was all over the place, I opened the package and everything was covered in the eyeshadow which was a little dissapointing. Now, the products not at all what i was expecting, I don't want to make this long so I'll show you guys the pictures and explain what i don't like....

I do like the packaging on the lipsticks :-)

Like I said I do like the packaging of the lipsticks, but the lipstick itself, not a big fan of. The one on the left is Doll and the one on the right is Naked which is their best selling one. I don't like either one, Doll looks to shimmery to me and Naked is too light. I have not used them at all, just to try them out and that was it. Another thing I didn't like was that I forgot to put the color I wanted on the comment box so i didn't get my free lipstick for buying 2, but I would think they would of still just sent me one on whatever color they thought I would like based on my two choices..but of course not they didn't do that

Now the lip/eye primer (left), i thought it would be a little bigger, but it is very small, I have tried it for both my eyes and lips and I also don't like it, with the eyes it made my eyeshadow crease and the lips I just don't see a point to it, i rather just use my lip conditioner. The only thing I liked about this whole order was the pigment in Single, that i LOVE..I used it for my lid and as a highlight and its just a very pretty color I recommend that one :-)

Lip balm is okay, i won't lie the only reason why I got this lip balm was because on the site it looked more pink what I got was not pink...lol...the blush I've only used twice, its in Bubblegum, and that I don't like or dislike, its a pretty color I just prefer to use my Azalea Blossom at the moment.

Overall in my opinion i don't recommend these products but thats just my opinion if you guys have them and love them that's fine. They just didn't work for me...

My first Mac palette...

I finally finished my Mac palette and I am so happy, it's defenitly pretty much all neturals, with a few purples maybe like two. I just wanted to make a palette with colors I know I will use and not just colors that I think are pretty but in the back of my head I know I probably won't ever wear. There are still a few that I want to get like Black Tied, Carbon not so much because to me its just like any other black, but for some reason Black Tied looks more appealing to me, ever since I saw a post that the beautiful Katrina Lomidze posted and she was wearing Black Tied it just look amazing. I also want to get Patina, Sable and a few others that I cant think of at the moment especially with my little boy right here next to me trying to hit the keys on my keyboard..lol. Anyways, well here is a picture of my completed Mac palette

(Left to Right )
Top Row-Brule, Naked Lunch, Bronze, Mulch, Brown Down
Second Row-Dazzlelight, Amber Lights, Satin Taupe, Cork, Twinks
Third Row- Jest, Woodwinked, Soft Brown, Brun, Sketch

Collective Haul Part 1 (Makeup part)

Bag full of Goodies :-)

These are just a few makeup products I bought a few weeks ago, but since I am in an APO address Mac cannot ship to this address if the product contains alcohol..now, to tell you truth I honestly don't know what product I could of bought that contained alcohol because on my previous puchases that I made at Mac it was pretty much the same products (different colors of course), but anways so I had to ship it to my inlaws house and then they shipped it to me. So I finally received my stuff today and I was so excited because I have been waiting for these for quite sometime now..anyways so these are my newest addition to my makeup collection...

Just an overview of everything together...

I was pretty excited for the Liberty of London collection when I saw it on temptalia.com, but when I saw it on the Mac website, for some reason nothing really stood out to me, the eyeshadows were not something I would wear, the lipsticks they looked like something I already had, beauty powders well I don't really use that, blushes, were not that pretty and nail polishes, well we as you know i am not a fan of Mac nail polishes...so the only thing that stood out or I thought was pretty was Peachstock lipstick and the Free to be eyeshadow, now I will admit, i kind of want the Birds and Berries eyeshadow, but i doubt I will get it :-)
I wanted to get Everhip lipstick but I am not a fan of the cremesheen formula either, my Creme D' Nude melted for some apparent reason, it wasnt even exposed to heat or anything it was at room temperature

These are one of my favorites I love eyeshadows (neturals to be exact lol) so I had to scoop me up some that i have been dying to get my hands on: (left to right) Mulch, Shroom, Nylon, Retrospeck
Also got the beige-ing shadestick, naked liner, the 239 eye shader brush, and oh my god, my favorite well this is not a eyeshadow but I am in love with this blush (ombre) Azalea Blossom, they were sold out for a while online and I kept on checking back to see if they had it back in stock..when I saw that it was I quickly had to grab it and buy it, thank god I did because its Sold out again..and for good reason its beautiful...now if they would only have Ripe peach again..its still sold out and i missed out on it..ugh..

So, one of my favorite makeup gurus on youtube is Makeupbymel..I freaking love her videos I love her personality i just love the way she does her makeup so everyday netural which is what i like, well if your a fan of her videos you know that these are her favorite eyelasher the Ardell 105, she always talks about them so i had to try them out, I bought 3 just to check them out, they look pretty nice, but I can't say I like them or hate them right now since i havent tried them on...I'll let you girls know later

I really wanted some nailpolishes for times that I am able to wear nail polish like long weekends or when I go on vacation, and i fell in love with these two colors, when I think of Done out in Deco by OPI i immediatly thing of juicystar07 i know i've seen other youtube gurus wear it but for some reason she just pops into my head because she was the first one I saw wear this nailpolish and I loved it, so I had to have it..now China Glaze For Aubrey i read that its suppost to be a dupe for Mac's Peppermint Patti and you pretty much can't find that nail polish anymore, I've tried no luck :-( so I settled with For Aubrey..and its a very pretty color, defenitly something I will be wearing something soon on my next long weekend :-)

I was most excited about this little baby right here, I am probably the last person to get this palette, and I am sure you girls know everything about this by now, its of course the limited edition Alice in Wonderland palette by Urban Decay...I love love love this palette, the colors are amazing so beautiful, i know they are basically same colors as previous palettes from UD and they just changed the name. I was going to buy the other available palettes since this was was pretty much impossible to find, btw I bought this one on ebay, but everywhere I went it was sold out. I ended up turning to ebay as my last resort so I decided to go ahead and purchase this one instead since it has same colors as other palettes and it was limited edition..i am so glad i bought it because it is absolutely gorgeous...I cant' wait to use this shadows...

Current favorite beauty products

So, I thought i would show you guys some of my favorite products that I have noticed i've been reaching for more often these past few months. I know the pictures are not great but I think they are fine, hopefully I can get a better camera later on after I am done saving up for my trip in December...but we shall see..anyways so most of them are Mac, of course I love Mac its my favorite brand, well one of my favorite. Hope you guys enjoy...

These are all the products i am loving at the moment....

OMG...I wanted to try this for the longest, and I finally got my hands on the NARS Laguna Bronzer and the Orgasam blush...I purchased this little baby at the PX (Post Exchange in Ramstein Air Force Base, Germany) It was at a lower price than what Sephora sells it for, so I just had to have it..and I love the Bronzer, the blush is okay, but Laguna Bronzer is the best...

I love concelears and these are three of my favorites, as you can see the Coastal Scents one is already hitting pan with the darkest color i use that one the most, the Benefits Boiing concelear I just recently started using again I had forgotten how much I liked it..now the Studio Finish by Mac I love the coverage, but it dries up a lot around my eyes and i hate that...but I still love the coverage..

For eyes, I am loving the UDPP in the color Sin, I just have the mini size version of it that came in the Get Baked palette, For eyeliner I love the 24/7 UD liners in the color Zero and Bourbon, and Mascara of course the Lash Blast by Covergirl is the best, I won't lie I just recently fell back in love with it..I had also left it behind to try new ones then came back and rememberd why it was my favorite..its the best

For Primer, i love the Mac's Prep and Prime...I think I am running low on it, so until I can repurchase this one I will use the Smashbox primer, but defenitly i always prefer this one over the Smashbox one

Now, my favorite lipsticks..I wasnt a big lipstick type of girl, but I started to get into them and now i just love them, these are pretty much my go to lipsticks I love these all Mac except one it's from Gosh cosmetics, they are pretty much all nude colors except for the obvious one Viva Glam Gaga, and I love the Close for comfort lip conditioner from the Warm and Cozy collection (FYI- Blankety was my first Mac lipstick ever)
Left to right-Blankety, Viva glam II, Freckletone, Myth, Darling, Viva Glam Gaga..(FRONT) Close for Comfort lip conditioner

I recently just started using false eyelashes, they are okay, i just use them on the weekends sometimes, I bought a few from red cherry..and i have to say these red cherry #213 are my favorite they look so natural when you put them on, and as you can see i have use them a few times (3x to be exact) and now they are gone, i have to repurchase some of these again I love them.

For face I really love (lol i really love everything dont I...lol) but I love my MSF in Medium Dark, it makes my face look so nice flawless and natural its just the best setting powder I have ever used, for blush I am loving the Mineralize blush in Rhapsody in two from the Too Fabulous collection..it can also work as a highligh..used with a light hand, I love it because it gives me such a nice glow to my face the perfect summer glow for me..to contour my face I have been using the Sculp powder and I love it..it really defines my face better its just perfect for me

Eyeshadows-I just recently got the Too Faced Natural eye palette and its amazing I think everybody should have that paletter it has amazing colors and just so natural, I really love Silk Teddy, Nude Beach, Heaven, Honey Pot and Cocoa Puff.
Of course to prime my eyes I love Painterly Paint pot i use that one every day for work and on the weekends sometimes, but for the most part I'll reach for my Rubenesque paint pot on the weekends, its so beautiful
I am currently using Espresso eyeshadow by Mac to fill in my eyebrows because girls filling in your eyebrows is a must I didn't realize that until the makupartis at mac did my makeup and she said it pretty much makes or breaks your whole look and it really does. So Espresso eyeshadow works best for me its not to dark just right...
And pigments, I love love love love chocolate brown its in the permanent line so make sure to pick it up if you haven't already, and Reflect antique gold its a glitter and it just adds a little extra something to your look its amazing i love it, now Vanilla pigment I use it for a highlight and its by far my favorite highlight ever..so I guess that one should not of been included on the eye section of this blog...lol

Well, thats it for now...<3

Love Kim Kardashians cute and casual yet sexy look

When I saw these pictures of the beautiful Kim Kardashian I automatically fell in love with her outfit. It is so casual and simple yet cute and the heels she has on make it look sexy. Of course pretty much anything Kim kardashian wears she makes it look amazing but this has to be one of my favorite outfits she has worn (in the casual catagory of course :-)...So when I saw this outfit I automatically thought of ways I could recreate this outfit with more afordable clothes and shoes, so I headed over to forever21.com and started looking for things (which was not that hard) that looked like what she was wearing the shoes I didn't have to think twice about, I already knew which ones I could get instead of the Loubies she have on. And its some shoes i have been eyeing myself from forever21.com for quite some time now.....and it took this outfit for me to finally decide to get them because lets be honest I cant afford some Christian Louboutin...so here is what I came up with...this is my take on her outfit <3

I decided to change the blazer from the one she is wearing to this one I found on forever21.com, with studs, I think it gives the outfit a little big of more attitude rather then just the plain blazer but either way would be pretty cute
Military Cross Studded Blazer
$32.80

This cute V-neck shirt is from American Apparel, but you can pretty much just buy a v-neck shirt from any place that sales clothes really...I just choose this one because I liked it, sounds weird since all white V-necks look a like right...??? lol...but its true.
Unisex Organic Fine Jersey Short Sleeve V-Neck
$19.00

These jeans are also from forever21, not really a big fan of distroyed jeans but these are pretty cute...
Dascha Torn Skinny Jean
$29.80

These are the babies I have had my eye on for quite some time now...they are so beautiful...also from forever21.com
Strappy Ankle Pumps
$29.80

And just in case you don't like the shoes from above these could be an alternative they look more like the ones Kim K was wearing but they don't come in tan, I am sure that there are plenty of other shoes that can take the place of the Christian Louboutin she was wearing but if you can afford them then more power to you :-) these are also from forever21.com
Tassel Lace Up Heels
They were $30.80 now they are $14.99
